Women
What I write below will perhaps be taken in different ways, positive and negative. So let me clarify unequivocally that the intent is to neither glorify nor belittle the female gender. It is simply my thought, and if anything, it is a tribute to the resilience and courage of womankind.
A woman can take a man’s anger, silently, without reacting in similar fashion. Quietly absorbing the onslaught into her bosom, painful as it may be, she lets the storm shed its acid rain and waits patiently for the sun to shine again. She can handle most criticism bravely; and also short-temper and undue pressure and even inattention, resigning herself to accept these and adjust herself, even if imperceptibly. For she wants to lessen the frequency of these unpleasant occurrences and often the best way for her is to accept these as misfortunes and take care not to do anything that again trigger what is so undesirable.
But insult her and you have lost her forever.
William Congreve, British playwright, in his work, The Mourning Bride (1697) wrote: “Heaven has no rage like love to hatred turned, nor hell a fury like a woman scorned.”
Understand this and you will never make an enemy of a woman, whether you are a man or a woman yourself.
Wise words and perhaps a woman in a nutshell.
Reading this article is like looking myself into mirror.
Very well written.
Flawless!
